Gingerbread Man Day!

After reading over a dozen different gingerbread man books this week, Ms. Ham's kindergarten class went on a gingerbread man hunt. They followed clues around the school building and finally found the gingerbread man in the office waiting for them with a tray of cookies for the class to enjoy. Continue reading

Woo Hoo to the entire 5th grade team!

Woo Hoo to Mrs. Vandeventer and Mrs. Witherington

Congratulations to Mrs. Vandeventer and Mrs. Witherington who are the recipients of the Greenwood Education Grant.  They will use the grant for the 2nd and 3rd grade Essential Skills classroom to purchase communication devices. These will assist in providing the students a means of functional communication in the academic setting as well as the community during classroom outings. Continue reading

Congratulations to Mrs. Beck and Ms. Ham who are the recipients of a Greenwood Education Foundation Grant. They will be using this grant to purchase literacy and math instructional materials for Kindergarteners.   They have been working hard to differentiate in their kindergarten classes and are excited to have more materials that meet the needs of all students.
