Back to School Nights

Back to School Nights for Southwest Elementary

  • Kindergarten will be Tuesday, July 26th from 6:15pm-7:30pm.
    • Last Names Starting with A-M:
      • 6:15-6:45 Session 1 in the classroom with your teacher
      • 7:00-7:30 Session 2 in the cafeteria with Ms. Guilfoy, Principal
    • Last Names Starting with N-Z:
      • 6:15-6:45 Session 1 in the cafeteria with Ms. Guilfoy, Principal 
      • 7:00-7:30 Session 2 in the classroom with your teacher 
  • First-Fifth will be Wednesday, July 27th from 6:15pm-7:30pm.
    • Session 1 in the classroom with your teacher 6:15-6:45 
    • Session 2 in the classroom with your teacher 7:00-7:30 (repeat of session 1)

School Calendar Survey

The 2015-16 school year was the first year that our school district operated under a modified balanced school district calendar. As promised by the school board, stakeholders would be surveyed to gain feedback for future calendars.  The link below contains a short survey to gain feedback for future school district calendars.  A reminder that the 2016-17 calendar has already been approved by the school board.  This feedback will be used as the 2017-18 school district calendar is developed.  The link for the survey is listed below.  The survey window closes April 29th

Pennies for Patients

Please help Southwest Raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Soceity. Students are bringing in loose change and/or dollars to school to help fill their classroom donation boxes. Our goal is to raise $1,350! The classroom that brings in the most money will win a pizza party courtesy of our Southwest Student Council.
