Substitute Teaching

Background Checks
SHS-RGB 1 To protect students and staff members, the School Board requires an inquiry into the personal background of each applicant the Superintendent recommends for employment.

AS OF JULY 1st, 2016, UPON RECOMMENDATION:
• Candidates will be required to complete and pay for an expanded criminal history check and an expanded child protection index check.
• Teacher and administrator candidates will also be required to complete and pay for a license verification from each state wherein they have taught and resided.
